Janet is the daughter of a career soldier. She grew up with her 4 brothers all over this great nation but mostly in the country, near Fort Rucker, where her dad was a helicopter pilot. She has called Calhoun County home since 1977. She has a degree in Finance and Real Estate from Jacksonville State University. She got her Real Estate license while in college in 1981 and started J. Brittain Associates when she was just 26 years old.
Janet enjoys her work. She loves that no day is the same. She knew when she started college she wanted to work in Real Estate. She loves interacting with people of all ages. She especially loves children and feels they are her calling. She has driven her church van for 20 years and has taught children from toddlers to teens at Alexandria Baptist Church. Something you wouldn’t guess about Janet is she loves scuba diving, travel, cooking & gardening (rescuing plants). She has been married to Neal Brittain for over 35 years and is Mom to Hunter and Hannah and a yellow lab, Gatlin. “What have you done for your God & Country today?” is something her dad would say to his soldiers daily and is what she would consider her mantra.
Hannah grew up in Alexandria where she attended Alexandria High School. She graduated from Jacksonville State University in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and began working for J. Brittain Associates full time. Hannah currently lives in Jacksonville with her husband, Josh, and their black Labrador, Winston. She enjoys traveling and planning get-togethers. Her favorite part about working for J. Brittain Associates is being able to meet tenants and owners at walk-through appointments and the close relationship she has with her coworkers.
Monica graduated from Jacksonville State University in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing. She has worked at J. Brittain Associates since May 2011. Monica has a German Shepherd, Mavis (she is a very proud dog mom). She enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family. With application processing being her main job responsibility, her favorite part about working for J. Brittain Associates is being able to experience the excitement of applicants when they are approved for their new home.M
Claire grew up in Anniston where she attended The Donoho School. She graduated Jacksonville State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. Claire currently lives in White Plains with her husband, Richard, and their two children. Her interests include music, animals and sports. She enjoys working at J. Brittain associates and the opportunity to learn something new every day.
Sam graduated from Alexandria High School in 2007. She now lives in Jacksonville. She is a dog lover with her favorite being her Yorkie, Jackson. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, and doing CrossFit. She has been with J. Brittain Associates for one year. Also, Sam is short for Samantha. So, no, she is not a man.
Morgan is 21 years old and from Ohatchee, AL. She is married to her best friend, AJ Gaines. They have a beautiful daughter, Brayleigh. Morgan previously worked at J. Brittain Associates for 2 years and took a short break to start her family. She recently started back and is excited to start this chapter in her life! On her off days you’ll find her spending time with her little family, binge watching Grey’s Anatomy, or shopping for adorable baby clothes!
